| Regional Geriatric Centre | To be operationalized | 30 beded Regional Geriatric Centre has been approved by GOI at Medical Colleges & Hospital, Kolkata as a Tertiary Care Specialized Centre including Training Centre. |
Services Provided:-
1. OPD Service:- Geriatric Clinic are run in the existing OPD Complex, twice in a week at District and sub district level hospital – by the doctors from the existing Govt. pool.
2. IPD Service:- Geriatric patients above 62 years are being admitted in the year marked IPD beds in the existing Male & Female Wards.
3. Rehabilitation & Counseling Services:- Patients need physiotherapy and counseling are being provided Services from Physiotherapy units (List Enclosed)
4. Geriatric Camp at GP Level :- By Annual Camp for Geriatric Population are being organized at GP Level from State Budget.
