Our Vision |

 The
state has most of the health infrastructure, 90.5% of the 70,398 beds
in the State inclusive of the Central Govt. and local bodies. Since
the last 50 years, there has been a paradigm shift in country's health
care infrastructure from a mainly urban and clinic based to the
creation of preventive and rehabilitative services by building up the
primary, secondary and tertiary care institutions and to link them
through appropriate referral systems. Programmes for combating major
public health programmes were evolved and implemented during the last
fifty years. |
